What do students need to do to get into my course?

There are 2 steps students need to complete to gain access to an AccountingPass course:

Step 1: Create an account - New student accounts can be made by selecting the "getting start" drop down on the navigation bar on our website. Then select new student.

Step  2: Join the course - After logging-in, click on "Add Class" then type  in the Course ID provided by the instructor.

Where do I get the Course ID?

Instructors: After logging-in to Accounting Pass, click "Courses" and find the course you want to get the code for. The Course ID is listed under the course name   XX-XX-XX-XX

Students: The Course ID has to be provided by your instructor before you can join a course on Accounting Pass.

What is the difference between a Course ID and an Access Code?

A Course ID is a string of letters that allows students to quickly find their class.

An Access Code is a code students can purchase from their bookstore to pay for their access to a course.

Purchasing an access code is not required as students can pay for Accounting Pass directly on the site.

I created a student account instead of an instructor account, how do I fix this?

Accepted Answer

Since instructor accounts automatically create an accompanying student  account, email addresses associated with student accounts can not be used to create instructor accounts.

Send an email to support@accountingpass.com so we can resolve this for you.

I used AccountingPass last year as a student, Do I need a second student account this semester?

Accepted Answer

No, If you already have a student account, you do not need a second one for a different course. All you have to do is add a second course in  your current account

After logging-in, click on "Courses" then join course and type in the Course ID provided by the instructor.
